Ride for Heart Health, Saturday, June 25, 2016, Treleaven by King Ferry Winery, 658 Lake Road, King Ferry (Just 18 miles north of Ithaca, NY)
Our ride is almost here! Two more days, and the weather promises to be beautiful! We look forward to welcoming you — reminder that registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the ride begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. We just learned that several roads on our normal route have been graveled this week, making it very difficult for biking on until it gets packed. Therefore, we will divert the route to a parallel road. This information will be on the cue sheets at the ride, announced at the opening ceremony, and will be very clearly marked along the routes with signs and road chalk.
Registration is open on Active.com for the fourth annual ride on Saturday, June 25, 2016. We hope you can join us for what is known as “one of the nicest rides in the Finger Lakes”, raising funds and awareness for heart health. With routes of 30, 50, and 70 miles, there is something for every level of cyclist, with beautiful views, two Finger Lakes (depending on your route), great camaraderie, and a not-to-be missed after party!
Registration fee includes ride, stemless wine glass, free wine tasting, lunch, free live music, and a great time –no additional funds need to be raised! Registration fee of $45 is $5 lower than last year’s fee until May 26; after that it is $55 ($65 onsite registration day of ride).
New this year! Cycling jersey, men’s and women’s cut, pre-order by May 26! Great price and wonderful souvenir. Order on Active.com also.
